In Dhaka, Bangladesh, every year during Eid-ul-Fitr, a unique micro migration takes place. The Dhaka Railway Station witnesses a mad rush of people with close to about 5 to 6 million people making the commute.

Eid-ul-Fitr, is one of the biggest religious festivals of the Muslims across the world and in Bangladesh a huge interstate travel displays a unique and picturesque opportunity to see thousands of travellers overcrowding the trains, thus dwarfing the mammoth locomotive.

In the following images I have captured the zealous journey of the devotees, the over excited family members who take the journey back home unperturbed about the crammed space on trains.
